Membership Eligibility
Membership at E1 Financial Credit Union is available to the employees and retirees of:
- Sempra Energy and all Sempra Energy subsidiary companies
- Southern California Gas Company
- Contract workers for Sempra Energy and Southern California Gas Company
- Additional Approved Groups

Full-time, part-time and contract employees are eligible for membership on their first day of employment, and may qualify to open a savings account, apply for a loan, and sign up for payroll deduction.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT: To help the federal government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.
